
On Tuesday 28th October our rugby club was bestowed by rugby royalty. Jonny Wilkinson put 30+ lads through their paces in an unforgettable 2hr training session.
This came about due to villager David Peck’s efforts in raising funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. His friend Nick Deane had this brutal condition and had spent the last couple of years bringing about awareness in his quest to raise £100,000. Nick sadly passed away on Friday 31st October but we’re determined to make his wish come true.
The evening raised over £4,000 and counting and tips the fund into needing a further £20,000. If anybody would like to contribute then please follow the link below:
