This weekend sees both of our senior sides in action, with the 1st XV heading to Crawley and the Ditchling Boarpack kicking off their long-awaited first game of the season at home. Spirits are high across the club after a strong showing last week — and both teams will be eager to lay down a marker.

1st XV vs Crawley (Away) KO: 3pm

The 1st XV travel to Crawley this Saturday, looking to turn last week’s hard-fought draw into a win. Ditchling showed real character against Pulborough, fighting back from 17–0 down at half time to finish level at 17–17 — a huge improvement given that Pulborough did the double over us last season.

The comeback performance showed plenty of grit and belief across the squad, and the boys will be keen to build on that momentum. Crawley are tough opponents on their own turf, but with new confidence and team starting to click, this should be another great contest.

Ditchling Boarpack vs Hove 3s (Away) KO: 2pm

It’s a big day for the Boarpack, who finally get their season underway with a clash on the road against Hove 3s. The lads are itching to get out there to showcase some of that trademark Ditchling determination, and enjoy a good afternoon of rugby.

With plenty of talent in the squad and a few familiar faces returning, the Boarpack will be looking to start strong and set the tone for the season ahead.
